Summary
Bruce Copley was a farmer with an interest in native flora, namely acacias, eucalypts, eremophilas and chenopods. He was a Honorary Collector for the State Herbarium of South Australia and collected over 5000 specimen, including the type of Eucalyptus cyanophylla Brooker (1977). He also named species of Ixodia (Asteraceae) and is commemorated by Bassia copleyi Ising (1969).
