Andrew Drinnan is a botanist and academic. He has been teaching plant diversity, structure and evolution of plants at the University of Melbourne since 1990. His research interests are palaeobotany and plant morphology, with research programmes in fossil plants of Australia and Antarctica, and flower development of Australian plant groups such as Myrtaceae and Nothofagus.
