Summary
Mrs McKean was the founder of the Taig family's eucalyptus oil business in the late 1890s, providing employment for cutters from around the area. The Taig family established one of the first commercial distilleries of eucalyptus oil in northern Victoria in the mid 1960s. In 2012, the company appears to have ceased.
