Alcheringa: an Australasian journal of palaeontology (ISBN 0311-5518) is the official journal of the Association of Australasian Palaeontologists. a specialist group of the Geological Society of Australia. It includes peer-reviewed papers on all aspects of palaeontology and its relations to biological sciences, particularly the documentation of fossils from the Australasian region. It is intended for an international audience. Alcheringa is a word in the language of the Arrente people referring to the beginning or the Dreaming.
