Summary
The South Australia Division of the Geological Society of Australia is the state branch for members of the Society. Awards presented by the Division include: the Bruce Webb Medal (Webb was a leader in mineral exploration in South Australia); and the Walter Howchin Medal for early-career geologists (Howchin was an early leader in South Australian geology). The Division publishes a monthly newsletter.
