Summary
Frank Jorgensen is a metallurgist with a specialist interest in the research and development of smelting technology. In the 1970s he was involved in the development of the SiroSmelt system while employed within the CSIRO Division of Mineral Chemistry. He worked for the CSIRO and the G K Williams CRC for Extractive Metallurgy for over 40 years, between 1960 and 2008 on many projects concerning flash smelting, roasting and particle temperature measurement.
