Summary
Bill Kininmonth worked for the Bureau of Meteorology for 38 years, joining the Perth regional office in 1960. He was head of the National Climate Centre (NCC) from 1986 until his retirement in 1998, and oversaw the modernisation of the climate databank and development of the NCC's first seasonal outlooks.
