Summary
Burnet Mander Jones made his career in the New South Wales Government Department of Mines, being Deputy Chief Analyst at the time of his death. Prior to this he worked at Kandos Cement Works in New South Wales followed by a stint at the Defence Department Laboratories in Maribyrnong, Victoria. During World War II Mander Jones served as a Lieutenant-colonel (civilian) with the anti-aircraft artillery.
