Summary

Reginald Lewis was Chief Inspector of Explosives in Victoria from 1909 and was Chief Gas Examiner from 1934. During the First World War he was a Director of Munitions on the Commonwealth Council of Defence.
He was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 1920. He was educated at the University of Melbourne.
