Summary

James Collins worked for T. Tristram Pty Ltd from 1951 to 1965 where he rose to Chief Chemist. Next he moved to Redcliffe Aerated Water Manufacturing Co. (1965-1976) where he was appointed Manager. Prior to 1951 he studied for a Diploma of Industrial Chemistry at the Brisbane Central Technical College and then joined A.C.F. & Shirleys Fertilizer Works. Collins was President of the Queensland Food Technology Association from 1959 to 1960.
