Summary
George Junck worked for Wunderlich as a senior chemist, working his way up to a directorship and board member. He was a joint founder of Non-Porite Ltd in 1928 and was associated with this firm up to the time of his death. Initially he carried out assay and other work on the pilot plant for electrolytic recovery of zinc and copper at Mt. Lyell Mining and Railway Co. in Tasmania for 4 years. Junck then Joined Wunderlich Ltd as senior chemist becoming works manager of the Brunswick Tile and Pottery factory (1923) and Manager of factories and works in Victoria and South Australia (1925).
