Summary
The Howard Florey Laboratories were commissioned in 1963. Supporters of the Laboratories included Kenneth Baillieu Myer, Sir Ian Potter and Dr H. C. Coombs. The Laboratories conducted long term experiments in order to study integrative physiology. In 1971 an Act of Parliament established the Howard Florey Institute of Experimental Physiology and Medicine.
