Summary

CSL Bioplasma, a division of CSL Limited, was established in 1952. Over its fifty year history CSL Bioplasma has contributed to the growth in both the supply and range of plasma products available to hospitals. CSL Bioplasma also co-operates with overseas blood services.

From their Web site, June 2002: "CSL Bioplasma has been the national fractioned for Australia since 1952 and has been an essential partner with the Australian Red Cross Blood Service (ARCBS) working closely with both Federal and State Governments to meet the clinical demands of the Australian community."
