Summary
The Division of Health Sciences and Nutrition was established in 1996, after a renaming of the Division of Human Nutrition.
CSIRO Health Sciences and Nutrition (excluding the Adelaide site) merged with CSIRO Molecular Science in 2005 to create a new division - CSIRO Molecular and Health Technologies. At the same time, the Adelaide site of CSIRO Health Sciences and Nutrition merged with Food Science Australia and is now known as CSIRO Human Nutrition.

From their Web site, November 2002: "Our Division's objective is to provide appropriate research and development to improve human well-being and community health in Australia whilst enhancing the competitiveness of the Australian food and pharmaceutical industries."
