Abstract

The Council of The Institution has decided that Institution Awards for 1967 be made as follows:
To Dr. H. B. Harrison, BSc BE MEngSc PhD MIEAust, for his paper entitled "Plastic analysis of rigid frames of high-strength steel accounting for deformation effects", which was published in the April, 1967, issue of the Civil Engineering Transactions;
To Dr. A. W. Roberts, BE PhD MIEAust, for his paper "The dynamics of granular material flow through curved chutes", which was published in the November, 1967, issue of the Mechanical & Chemical Engineering Transactions.
