The Council of The Institution has decided that the 1967 Awards of the R. J. N. Franki Medal be made to Dr C H P Brookes, BE MEngSc DPhil StudIEAust (now AMIEAust), for his paper entitled "Computers in control of the basic oxygen steel making process", which was published in the Jul-Aug 1966, issue of The Journal.
