Abstract: The Council of The Institution has decided that the 1966 Award of the Chemical Engineering Prize of The Institution of Engineers, Australia, be made to Associate Professor G H Roper, MSc PhD MIEAust, for his paper entitled "Residence-time distribution in cylindrical tanks with axial inlet and outlet", which was published in the November 1966 issue of Mechanical & Chemical Engineering Transactions. Mr D C Dixon was co-author of the paper.
