Abstract

The Council of The Institution has awarded the Warren Memorial Prize for 1946 to Mr J F McIllwraith, BE AMIEAust, for his paper entitled "Intensity, frequency and distribution of heavy rainfall in New South Wales", which he presented before the Sydney Division of The Institution on 2nd March, 1945, and which had previously been published in the December, 1944, issue of The Journal.
