Abstract

One of the last functions of the old Board was to approve the award of the John Monash Medal for 1982 to J.C. (Bob) Rivett for his paper "Management in a Consulting Engineering Practice". I think that must beĀ· a unique event - a past president winning an award on the basis of a paper.
