Abstract

Surface condenser tube perforation having developed itself at the Newport power house of the Victorian railways department, a recent test was carried out in regard to the effects of water, below atmosphere, passing through tubes at high velocity. The results of the tests are given, and the author suggests that engineers interested might give others the benefit of their investigations. Correspondence is invited.
