Description

Copies of papers relating to the life of Stanley collected by Hugh Davis from a variety of sources, both archival and published, in addition to the Stanley family. Includes copies of published scientific papers and geological surveys and reports relating to Papua, newspaper cuttings, correspondence and other papers. The collection also includes a typescript chronology of Stanley's life prepared by Hugh Davis, 1985-1986, and copies of correspondence gathered by Davis in the course of his research 1966-1985.
