Summary

In 1856 English migrant, Thomas Stokes, commenced business in Melbourne as a diecaster and medalist. Three sons later joined as the business as partners.

In 1911 the business was incorporated as Stokes & Sons Pty Ltd.

1962 saw the company restructured and Stokes (Australasia) Limited was established to acquire the whole of the shares in Stokes & Sons Pty Ltd.
