Summary

Sir Brodie Henderson, an English civil engineer, was responsible for the construction of many significant ports, harbours and railways across the world. From 1891 he was a partner in Livesey, Son and Henderson, and when James Livesey retired, he became the senior partner in Livesey and Henderson - one of the foremost consulting engineers of the period. The partnership designed and built many railways including the Midland Railway of Western Australia.
