Summary

Olive Moore was a mathematician and an innovative secondary teacher of mathematics who was dedicated to making learning the discipline fun and accessible.
She was also a founding member and treasurer of the eastern branch of the Mathematical Association of Victoria. In her retirement she developed a keen interest and expertise in genealogy and local history. She produced several publications on local history including Farr from Wales (1988), Flying the Yellow Flag (1990) and Victorian Land Records and their Locations (1998).
