Scientists Against Nuclear Arms (Australia) was part of an international body formed to oppose the development of nuclear arms. It had a number of State and National commiitees in Australia, and these were closely aligned with the Medical Association for the Prevention of War (MAPW). SANA later became part of Scientists for Global Responsibility (Australia).
