Summary

Edgar Kipps, as a young Bachelor of Science graduate, joined the CSIR Division of Plant Industry in Canberra as a chemist in 1930. Within the Division he later worked in Agrostology and Plant Introduction until he left CSIRO in 1960. In 1947/48 he moved from Canberra to the newly formed CSIR Division of Plant Industry laboratory at the University of Queensland, Brisbane.
