Summary
The Ruby Payne-Scott Award for Excellence in Early Career Research was established in 2013 (and first presented in 2016) to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Australian Institute of Physics. It is presented biennially recognise achievements of exceptionally promising early career physicists. The recipient is invited to write an article related to the research for which the award was presented, for publication in Australian physics. Ruby Payne-Scott was a pioneer in Australian radiophysics and radio astronomy.
