Summary
The Victorian agricultural and horticultural gazette was published in Geelong (Victoria) under the auspices of the Agricultural and Horticultural Societies of Geelong and Melbourne, with vice-regal patronage. It was one of the earliest such magazines published in Australia. Articles covered a wide range of topics relating farming and horticultural practices, including diseases, and machinery. Reports of the activities and proceedings of local societies and botanic gardens formed a central part of the contents. The editor was Samuel Hannaford.
