Summary

The Australasian Association of Nematologists was formed in 1989 to advance and disseminate knowledge of nematology and its practice through the exchange of information between individuals interested in nematodes; organising scientific meetings and workshops; and raising public awareness of the achievements and importance of nematologists. The Association is a Special Interest Group of the Australasian Plant Pathology Society. A Newsletter has been issued by the Association twice per year since 1990.
