- Abstract
The paper presents an historical review of the origins and applica- tion of reinforced concrete in New South Wales from 1895 to 1915. Most of the works exist, and are still in use after some 80 to 90 years. With reinforced concrete now the dominant building material, these early works form a valuable collection of hard evidence of our engineering heritage.
