Abstract

The expanding role of slurries in providing means for the utilisation handling and transportation of a wide range of bulk solids will continue to be an important factor in the future development of our mineral resources. Recent developments in slurry technology with particular reference to conventional long distance transportation, coarse solids pumping and energy slurries are reviewed.
