- Abstract
The design of methods of suppression of dust which is formed from coal during the winning, washing and transportation processes is hampered by lack of knowledge about the nature of the dust and the methods by which it is formed. There is also a need to develop a standard test method to measure the effectiveness of the agglomerating or suppressant chemicals.
