- Abstract
The sizing of paper is an important part of its manufacture and the quality of the sizing is a special requirement in fine writings and printings. With the production of fine papers in Australia from indigenous timber many investigations such as the present one are of economic importance to the growing industry. The wastage of alum used in sizing with rosin and variation in sizing quality prompted this study.
