Abstract: The Council of The Institution has decided that the 1961 Award of the Mechanical Engineering Prize of The Institution of Engineers, Australia, be made to Mr. R. N. Morse, BSc BE MIEAust, as joint author with Mrs. E. Kaletsky, a non-member at the time of publication, for the paper entitled "A new approach to radiant cooling for human comfort," which was published in the June, 1961, issue of The Journal, and that Mrs. E. Kaletsky be recorded as a joint author of the prize-winning paper.
