Abstract: The Council of The Institution has decided that the 1968 Award of the Electrical Engineering Prize of The Institution of Engineers, Australia, be made to Dr M Darveniza, BE PhD MIEAust, Dr T M Parnell, BSc BE PhD MIEAust, and Mr D R Mercer, ME MIEAust, for their paper entitled "The lightning protection of distribution transformers", which was published in the September 1968 issue of the Electrical Engineering Transactions.
