Abstract

The Council of The Institution has decided that the 1966 Award of the Mechanical Engineering Prize of The Institution of Engineers, Australia, be made to Mr J E Varley, BMechE AMIEAust, and Mr H Ots, AMIEAust, for their paper entitled "Combustion of brown coal briquettes", which was published in the May 1966 issue of Mechanical & Chemical Engineering Transactions. Mr W J Stockdale and Mr L J Stafford were co-authors of the paper.
