Abstract

The Council of The Institution has decided that the 1965 Award of the R. W. Chapman Medal be made to Dr C. J. Apelt, BE DPhil(Oxon) AMIEAust, for his paper entitled "Flow loads on bridge piers", which was published in the July-Aug 1965 issue of The Journal.
