Abstract: The Council of The Institution has decided that the 1966 Award of the Electrical Engineering Prize of The Institution of Engineers, Australia, be made to Dr. M. Darveniza, BE PhD AMIEAust, and Mr. R. Mercer, ME AMIEAust, for their paper entitled "Service performance of distribution lightning arresters and transformers", which was published in the September 1966 issue of the Electrical Engineering Transactions.
