- Abstract
The paper gives a general description of the harbour accommodation afforded by the port for general cargoes and special cargoes, dealing with the subject under the following headings : Size of vessels; Depth of water required;. Width of waterways; Length and width of wharves; Size of sheds; Location of berths; Road and rail access; Mechanical equipment; Special cargoes, including wheat, wool, meat, timber, coal and oil; Statistics of the port's trade and wharf facilities; Future development of the port.
