Gunditjmara Country: an Indigenous prespective on the earth sciences
Imprint
Melbourne, to be released, 160 pp
Abstract

This publication, Gunditjmara Country, was developed as a serial part of the complete Kormilda Science and SOCE Project - An Indigenous Perspective on the Earth Sciences. The other two publications are Pintupi Country and Gunbalanya Country. The project was initially designed to be taught as a continuous semester-length Earth Sciences unit. Teachers may, however, choose to pick various topics from each book and use them to develop a curriculum more specific and sensitive to local needs. To assist teachers with using this textbook, tables linking the content with the Australian Science and Geography curricula are enclosed.
