Abstract

Due to their universal applicability, the graphical solution of problems is generally preferred, by the engineer, to the often more involved and tedious analytical process. Any graphical methods, therefore, which tend to widen the scope of such solutions are always welcome and the author hopes that the principles outlined in this paper may commend themselves to the engineer.
