- Abstract
This paper is a description of the design of a large dam to augment the water supply to the City of Perth, Western Australia. The theoretical design is outlined under the general headings of selection of cross-section, design of theoretical section, contraction joints, water control, bywash, and detail design, etc. Sample calculations and comparative tables, useful for general dam design purposes, are included in Appendices.
