Abstract

The Board approved a recommendation of the Editorial Panel that the George Julius Medal for 1982 should be awarded to A. W. Roberts, P. C. Arnold, A. G. McLean and O. J. Scott for their paper "The Design of Gravity Storage Systems for Bulk Solids" in the September 82 issue of the Mechanical Engineering Transactions.
