This subject is not only of importance to electrical engineers, architects, and contractors, but property-owners contemplating the erection of new buildings. The author discusses the uses to which electrical energy, because of its flexibility and efficiency, may be employed in modern buildings, and describes the system of wiring of buildings, and the practice likely to give an effective service.
