Abstract

Added interest is attached to this article because of the fact that the hydro-electric undertaking, by which the power is generated, is the largest in the State, and notable for the following:- Extreme rough and mountainous character over which the transmission lines are built; high altitudes and severe climatic conditions; size of territory served and high voltage employed. The flexibility of electricity to meet these heavy conditions is fully exemplified.
