Abstract

The O'Shannassy River scheme has been described. The article has been prepared by the author from a paper read before the Victorian Institute of Engineers. The great importance of the undertaking may be gauged from the fact that the water is to be carried by conduit 49-1/2 miles in length. Steel, wood staves, and reinforced pipes have been used.
