Abstract

The paper describes methods adopted for the study of droughts on the catchment areas of Sydney Water Supply. It proposes an improved method for the determination of safe draft of a storage reservoir, to replace the use of the "mass curve."
The use of statistical methods for the study of droughts is discussed, with particular reference to graphical presentation.
