- Abstract
An industrial archaeological survey and analysis of the Brisbane windmill has uncovered new facts about its design and construction. It is concluded that the main reason for its operational problems was not poor construction or inadequate maintenance but insufficient wind. The palliatives adopted are examined, and tentative reconstructions of the outline and internal layout are made.
