- Abstract
Heritage and Conservation Professionals were the consultants responsible for preparation of the Conservation Plan for the Midland Railway Workshops. This document formed part of the Strategy Plan for the future use of the workshop site. They contain specific recommendations for the future use of the site and include strategies for conservation. At the time of writing, the documents had not been released, so this paper has concentrated on the heritage significance of the workshops with some general observations regarding outcomes.
