- Abstract
Current New South Wales legislation can be used to protect some types of engineering heritage items, but the nature of the items and lack of recognition of their engineering heritage value makes the task difficult. Nevertheless, the Heritage Council of New South Wales has acted to conserve a number of items of the engineering heritage and some examples are described.
